MTM Athletes on the Move

It was an action-packed sign and trade period with six More Than Management athletes finding new homes.

Three Demons are on the move with Katherine Smith on her way to Sydney to join the Giants, while Elise O’Dea and Maddy Guerin will stay close to home, joining the Blues. 

Smith is looking for a fresh start after injury interrupted her 2020 season. She is set to be a force down back and through the midfield for the charcoal and orange. 

The mix of youth and experience from young speedster Guerin, and two-time All Australian O’Dea, will make them perfect additions as Carlton looks to mount another premiership tilt. 

While Carlton brought elite talent in, it also saw inaugural Blue Sarah Hosking leave for the Richmond Tigers. She will be joined in the yellow and black by former Magpie, Sarah Dargan. 

Katie Lynch has also found a new home, leaving Collingwood for the Western Bulldogs in search of fresh opportunities.
