Kick Like Tayla: Harris to Feature in Documentary

Dual-sport superstar Tayla Harris will feature in a new Amazon Prime Video documentary, Kick Like Tayla.

Following her everyday life, the documentary will be “a gripping account of the emotional, physical and mental challenges that Tayla faces, as she strives for sporting greatness”.

It will be a great opportunity for viewers to see a different side of the young star as she juggles a career as full-time athlete, splitting her time between AFLW and boxing.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of this new Amazon Prime Video documentary where I can show what is a usually very private side to myself” Harris said,

"You will see what makes me tick, how I go about game day, cutting weight for fights and plenty more."

The documentary will also address the effect social media trolling has had on Harris since the fallout of the infamous ‘kick photo’ in 2019.

Passionate about online harassment and bullying, Harris is often outspoken on the issue and is an ambassador for Our Watch, which aims to prevent violence against women and children.

Currently in production with the AFL, the documentary is set to be released later in 2021, available to stream on Amazon Prime.
