Breakout season for Kate Hore

Congratulations to Kate Hore for being named All-Australian, winning Goal of the Year and winning the Third Best & Fairest award.

Kate Hore’s breakout 2020 season was astonishing. She finished third in Melbourne’s Best & Fairest, won the AFLW Goal of the Year and finished equal first in Melbourne’s leading goal kicking award with seven majors from only five games. This earned the excitement machine All Australian honours in only her third season. 

Her Goal of the Year was an incredible three-bounce run down the boundary line, flying past two opponents before snapping a goal deep in the forward pocket. Known for her raw speed and explosive pace, Kate is instant fan favourite.
