Emma Swanson
Emma Swanson was signed as a marquee player and named Vice-Captain for the GWS Giants in 2016 ahead of the inaugural 2017 AFLW season.
She made her debut in round three due to an injured hamstring, but still made the All-Australian squad despite missing the first two games of the season.
Swanson stayed with GWS until she was signed and named captain by the West Coast Eagles when the expansion club joined the competition for the 2020 season.
Outside of football, Swanson works as a firefighter and enjoys an outdoor lifestyle of boating, fishing and travelling.
