Darcy Vescio
Darcy Vescio played in the inaugural AFLW season with the Carlton Blues as a marquee signing, making her debut in the historic first ever AFLW game between Carlton and Collingwood.
At the end of the 2017 season, Vescio won the AFLW Leading Goalkicker award, the Mark of the Year award, was nominated by her teammates for the Most Valuable Player award and named in the All-Australian side.
Vescio’s strong form continued into 2018, winning Carlton’s Leading Goal Kicker award and was elevated to Carlton’s leadership group for the following season.
Vescio’s excellence on-field also extends into her off-field life. She works with a number of charities, organisations and brands on issues including multiculturalism and gender equality.
Vescio is also a remarkably talented graphic designer and artist and designed the Blues’ 2020 Pride jumper.
She is widely renowned for her quirky social media posts and bubbly personality.
